at the beginning of the summer of 2003 I was 5'8" and 225lbs. My doctor said I needed to weigh 175, I had heard it a number of times before but this time I did something, I am down to 190-195 with cardio and much improved diet and I really want to do whatever it takes to go the rest of the way, but I seem to have sort of hit a floor I am having trouble breaking through, I just started (yesterday) an 8 week deffinition and loss program 5 days a week, but I am finding it is hard to maintain the same level of cardio because of muscle soreness (especially in my hamstrings from lunges). What do you guys think?

You have done a great job already!!
Don't worry about the sore muscles, it's only in the beginning, you'll feel a lot better later.
Weight training sculpts the body, cardio doesn't (BUT you still need it!! ;o)
Good luck!!

Thats a good plan; dont push it to hard for the 1st couple weeks.
Give it about 6 weeks 2 see good results and remember that consistancy is everything.
