I am trying to find the right combo of supplements and i just recieved AST's VP2 and have started taking that and heard AST's products are pretty reliable so i am going to order the glutamine and creatine mon. my question is should i only be taking these supplements directly after i workout and not on my rest days? And will i be able to see noticable gains from these products?

The HSC you do not want to take on your day off. It will cause a blood sugar rise, thus insulin output. You do not want that on your day off. If you are not creatine loaded, I would opt for just the micronized creatine to load with. Use the HSC post workout only for the insulin surge. You can combine them, the HSC, VP2 and Glutamine with no problem. If you get the micronized creaine and not HSC, then use dextrose and maltodextrin for your insulin spike post workout(with the VP2 and glutamine of course). On your days off, just take micronized creatine once per day, with a meal is usually best. VP2 you can use as needed to meet your protein needs on days off, but do not take it on an empty stomach. Have it with a meal or add some flax or Heavy cream or natural peanut butter with it to slow digestion.

I'm thinking about ordering AST's DGC instead of the creatine since i've just started working out about a month ago. Do you think this is better and go on the creatine a little bit later?

An even better thing would be get dextrose and maltodextrin. Both dirt cheap. Dextrose you can get 2 lbs. for a bout $1.50, and malto is a bit more, 2 lbs. for about $2.50. Both can be gotten at dps nutrition or vitaglo. Do this mixture, mix 1/4 your bodyweight, divided in equally between dextrose and malto, and 1/4 your bodyweight in protein, drink half immediately, and sip the rest for about 45 min. Insulin sensitivity is really pretty crucial to get the most out of this protocol. You need to clean up your diet, keep blood sugars steady, and your muscles will become more insulin sensitive rather than resistant.
