My exercise program starts monday, but does not include any cardio. I was thinking of bicycling alternate days from my workouts. I think this will keep my metabolism up and level all week. I am trying out a gym monday, wednesday, and friday. I am riding 5 miles in 20 minutes Teusday, Thursday, and Saturday. What do you think? Should I do some cardio while I am at the gym too, or is the rest more important?
stick with the alternating days for now.
It also depends on what your goals are. if you are trying to gain muscle you want to keep your cardio to a minimum.
If you are trying to lose weight you can add a little cardio as you go along to kep from hitting a plateau.

As long as you dont strain yourself to hard biking, it is a great addition to limber up the body. I would bike, but make it a relaxing cycle.. almost a stretch..
