If I wanna add a 2 inches to my chest, for example, how many pounds of muscle would I have to pack on? Is there a mathmatical equation to determine the pound-to-inch ratio?

I don't know that there would be or is a mathematical equation for what you ask. For instance, the mass of a muscle must play some part. It would be much easier I believe for instance to gain an inch in the quadriceps than in the biceps.(area of mass)
