Has anyone tried these with any success? I tried one a few years ago and it was very splotchy. Anyone know of one that lives up to it's hype?

Ahhh looking for the elusive "red head tan"? =) I've heard alot of the tanning salons are getting these spray tanning booths which are supposed to work really well. Dunno about the home stuff.
Sheesh.. she wants the best of both worlds.. red hair.. AND a tan! =)

lmao drio....yes, every weekend I look longingly at the pool and think should I or shouldn't I? Then a big flashing neon sign that says skin cancer pops into my head! It seems the older I get the more spotty and freckly my skin gets, it would be nice to blend them all together into a little 'tan' ;)

Yep I use self tanners. Work fine!
You can try to mix it with some hydrating cream to avoid any unwanted spots.

I agree - Neutrogena works great (I use medium on the legs, dark on the face) and as long as you rub it in well, it looks really great.

Self tanners are ok. Just make sure you exfoliate first and use it sparingly around your knees, ankles, and elbows and wash your hands right away or you will get stained palms. It also helps if you have someone there to help get your back and tops of you hands.

I agree with tara 100%. I live in AZ and at this time of year the only 'safe' time to be out in the sun is before 9am or after 6pm. I don't intend to develop this healthier lifestyle and then give it up to skin cancer!

I have used natual tanners for years. Neutrogena lotion is the best I've used. I always mix it with regular lotion though. (about half and half) That way it never streaks, plus it goes a lot further. I've even mixed the spray with lotion and it works just fine too. One tip: When you are rubbing it in, be sure to keep your fingers pressed together against each other. That alone will eliminate lots of streaks.
