You can overtrain anything that flexes. Not to be confused with certain things that appear to flex. :))

U can certainly Overtrain any muscle group.

I think overtraining can be defined as overtaxing your body's ability to recover from exercise. When you train, your entire system is being worked, not just a particular muscle. Heart, lungs, nervous system, endocrine sytem, etc, are all being stimulated and need a chance to recover. So, even though you may only be training chest once a week, if you are exercising intensely every day, without giving all of your systems a chance to recover, you can get into an overtrained state, and your progress could come to a stop, or even go backwards.
