Sometimes about halfway through my workout, I'll start getting extremely shakey. Everytime I lift anything, I shake all over the place and it's difficult to keep my motions correct. What could be the cause of this? I usually work out after eating one or two meals earlier in the day, with about an hour break from my latest meal to my workout. It doesn't always happen, just once in a while.

I remember when I first started working out or even doing anything strainful, my muscles would develop a tremor. Once our muscles get used to being worked, this eventually will disappear.
If you are just starting out, I would suggest you concentrate more on the form , and not on the weight.
Hope this helps.

Make sure you are staying hydrated during your workouts too. My blood pressure tends to drop when I get dehydrated and that makes me feel shaky, so I make sure to take a water bottle and take a drink between each set.

If they are not muscle shakes but instead all over shakiness, could be this. If blood sugar drops dramatically, that can cause a shakiness. You may find a sports drink of some type with a high sugar content will help you here. Do not worry about the sugar here. Hard training and it cannot do anything but aid you...muscle glycogen. Gatorade for instance could work.
