Hey guys ive been on here for like 16 weeks, and toned up pretty good, now im going for the 6pack...and im ready i know its all about diet and am eating chicken /turkey low carbs and my myoplex. Also i don't eat much before bed maybe at 9 i have 2 or 3 egg whites.... so when i wake up im pretty hungry. I read in Muscle and fitness that you want to eat after you do your cardio in the morning. but i work out and do cardio in the morning... i work out then do my cardio. So is it ok to lift on an empty stomach or should i continue having a meal suppliment before the gym? Does it cost me that much if i do that? I don't really want to lose what ive earned so far ya know?

I would have something to "protect" your lean mass. When your body needs glycogen(fuel), which it will for strenuous lifting, it can and probably will if you are pretty low in bodyfat go to BCAA's. The body can use these nicely for burning for glycogen. The only place it has to get them is your muscles! So, I would suggest a protein drink at the very least, about 40 gr. or so, or if you prefer, a handful of BCAA's immediately pre training. this procedure can also help your body burn more fat simply by seeing the "flood" or BCAA's in the bloodstream, thus thinking it is already breaking down lean tissue. So it will revert to fatty acid stores. But have some protein at least before and following training also, especially cardio.

As far as genetics go, the skies the limit. You are limited only by your mental perception of it.

Ditto.
I usually dig in a little further - I like to have some carbs (low GI of course) in my system before training because I feel I get more intensity in my sessions. That, of course, is subjective and you might feel differently. Definately eat something, but experiment a little with what feels best.
