Okay it is fess up time, BB placed in his comp. and he has been eating a much reg diet. Well so have I and it has to stop. I did that cheat thing where I thought well you did it before and nothing happend, then BAM I have gained 7 lbs in the last two weeks. I stopped writing everything down and planning my daily diet. Okay guys I am giving you an edge on the comp. we having here at FT. I have brushed off my knees and I am getting back on the wagon. Looked in the mirror today and almost fainted. Even my daughter told me today that maybe I needed a little more cardio. Well I have to go and sit down and plan my new diet and my new workout. -------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! LOL....I have been on an off week (not training) and it is really tempting to let the diet part off also! I haven't let it get to me.
BTW 16 weeks till the end of the comp! keep cheating! Just kidding! You know how to do it! -------------- You can walk to anywhere you want, it only takes time. Ivan Montreal Canada (aka SpongeBob Square Pants to some!) |

I've actually gained like 7 lbs in the last couple weeks too. I'm not sure if I've fallen off the wagon though. I've been eating alot more FOOD and less of my shakes. So I'm not sure exactly where the weight has gone to.. I'm 6'2" and it's kinda hard to tell. A little bit of both probably.
We know you're way too determined to fall off the wagon without getting back on. It's good to know that the people that inspire us are still human after all! -------------- Dont wait! Procrastinate NOW! =) |

It doesn't take long, especially the older you get! Whe work out and eat good to help keep our metabolism's in check, but no matter what, the age factor is still there. Think of a motor running 24 hours per day. You oil it, grease it, maintain it best you can. But at some point if you stop doing that, it is going to slow down on you and eentually get out of hand. We can replace the motor, our metabolisms we have to work damn hard at to get them back up. Age is fighting us at all times. And I don't just mean 50 year olds, depends alot on how you treated your body before you got healthy too. Just a little constructive input/analogy to think about. You can do it, we all can do it. Work ethic and determination.-------------- As far as genetics go, the skies the limit. You are limited only by your mental perception of it. Ron |

Is that normal? 7lbs seems like a lot in 2 weeks. I didn't know that even after you have great muscles that you would put weight back on that fast. Does that mean that if you go on vacation for 2 weeks you can expect to gain? I'm scared now.-------------- ~Victoria~ ...Some things have to be believed to be seen! |

It's all water, No big deal!!! Been in the bathroom alot since I got back on track. Water loss always happens first so I really am not amazing at all. When I get on the scale next week, it will tell the tail.-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! Any major change in your diet can cause a lot of water retention; I was up nine pounds a few weeks ago, as soon as I got on track again the first five came off in a few days. The rest of it didn't take long. Scared me though! Don't worry about going on vacation, AZ. All the salt and carbs just makes you swell up a little. LOL

LOL, is 7 pounds the magic number? I finished a program and took a week off to rest the muscles. Ding, 7 lbs! Well, ok, that 1 week turned into 10 days! LOL. And it all starts again! LOL. Hey, but I stepped it up a notch, this program is intermediate! WOOOOO

Dropped 2 more this morning, Why did God bless the women of the world with all this water retention. I have to admit though seeing that scale drop has kept me a little excited and right on track, IM IN THERE, new workout, new diet, I am so sore and it is the best feeling in the world to me. a week ago I thought I was going to have to take a insulin shot, that is what woke me up to what I was doing, nothing like the thought of putting a needle in your stomach to make you face reality. Thanks everyone for your undying support, I sometimes feel I couldn't do it if Ron and you guys wern't there for me. THANK YOU ((((((FT)))))))-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! Thanks guys, it was diffucult at first, but what it comes down to is making the right choices. I am working with a girl in Texas who just found out she is a diabetic, she is at about 190lbs and wants to do what I have done. If she stays with it she can, Again it is all in the choices you make! You know when I think about it all, I am very lucky to have a great doctor who listens and takes the time for me and a very supportive husband who read all he could on diabetes just so he could help me. -------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! If it's gone up that much in just a few days jx then it's almost got to be water retention.

okay guys, close your ears, girls, my daughter couldn't understand her weight gain the other day, the first thing I ask her: Are you getting ready to start your period? Yes she says, this is water retention for sure, I told her not to get back on the scale till after, never ever just before.-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! I would have to say that could be a bad thing and you might want to go to your doctor. Good luck to you!-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! THE NATURAL WAY IS THE ONLY TRUE PATH TO SUCCESS, PRIDE, JOY, HAPPINESS, LONG TERM FULFILLMENT AND SELF-ESTEEM! |
