I train calves and forearms with moderate weight and reps 3 to 4 times a week and heavy with lower reps on leg day and arm day respectively. Is this overtraining? I read these muscle groups are used so much everyday that it takes alot to make them grow and that they can handle the work. I seem to be getting results, but I don't want an injury to sneek up on me if I am, in fact, overtraining. Any opinions?
Wait you train your calves and forearms with moderate weight 3-4 times weekly AND heavy 2 times as well?!! (6 times a week?!!!)
Well oh yes you're overtraining! AND overtrain small muscle groups and you'll be bad at working the bigger ones........
Keep the training to max twice a week.

It's actually only five times a week (lol). I will cut it back to twice a week and see what happens. I think I will have one heavy and one light day and see how I feel in a month or so.
