Hello munich,

DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF. If you do then you are burning muscle instead of fat.

You'd have to work out vigorously for five hours to burn up the extra 2000 calories. That's pretty much impossible unless you're an elite athlete. That would be about 1 pound lost per day. NOT safe or healthy.

To be more realistic, aim at about 1-3 pounds a week.

Good Luck

Thanks for the post. Actually I was looking at 14 pounds in three weeks, that's why I came up with the 2300 cal. per day. Since 3500 equals one pound, that would be ok. I thought if I skip eating, which would not be too difficult, and work out I could achieve the 14 lbs. in that time. I know that it is not the healthiest way but I need a quick fix for now !

Well you haven't put in your profile but let's say that your body burns around 1800 calories daily (without sport etc) Now you'll just need to do some exercise to burn the rest 500 calories. Some days weight training and other days cardio or simply long walks.
Finally to loose weight is about calorie balance yes, but it's extremely difficult to know excactly how many calories you eat or burn. Just try to stay serious and eat healthy and clean and then you'll see, the fat will be melting! (o;
(but as Arnold says, aim for 1-3 pounds a week....... The rest will be water or/and lean muscle mass.....)

Good luck!!

Get into eating chicken breast, egg whites and tuna, and good carbs.
Cut back on your fat.
The protein in the above foods also helps burn more calories.
Ans like the other posts say, exercise and cardio will let you see 1-3 lbs a week.
Good Luck.
