Anybody have advice on the best weight/body fat duo scale out there? I've read a little here and there but there is nothing that stands out too much. Is Tanita the best? I'm talking about accuracy of course.

Actually the only acurate bodyfat scale is our tape measure.
It never lies.
Calipurs are pretty accurate providing the same person always does the test, electonic scales like the tanita are not so accurate due to many occurances that may interfere with the electric currant in our body, and then of course there is the under water test which is the most accurate but very costly.
The numbers should be used as a starting point, or guide to know if you are going up or down.
Good luck in yout training.

Thanks! I bought the Tanita 559, which does weight, bodyfat, and change in both since last measure. Nice. I'm getting it formally done Wednesday, so I'll take that formal measurement and adjust my first few home measurements to match it, then go from there. Thanks again.

I have a Tanita as well Ogun. I don't really trust that it's "accurate". But I think it give me a good reference to work with. (like week to week comparison) And be sure to use it at the same time of day. If you haven't noticed already, it will go way up and down at different times of the day. If I use it later in the day instead of first thing in the morning... the body fat measurement will go down by like 3%. (I believe this has to do with water content)

Use the mirror, your measurements and wife/girlfriend or friends to tell you the results.
