Hi! I am thinking of trying the protein/fat fighter drink called FitForm. It contains 30% protein but is basically a fat fighter drink which supposedely doesn't allow carbs to turn into sugar or for fat to be absorbed in the digestive tract. Now, my question is, is this safe?...because if it does not allow for some fat to be absorbed, then how do the vitamins that need the fat inorder to be absorbed get into the bloodstream? Is this safe? I mean, I know that inorder to loose fat, it is best to stay away from it, but the body needs some inorder to function properly doesn't it?? So basically my question is, should I try this drink or stay away from it? Thanks!

I personally would not take anything that claims anything like this. You body does need fat. It also needs carbs.

I agree with gwindalyn, stay away from this product. I hate to disappoint you, but your body will absorb anything you put into it. It does not care what it is, it will digest the food, and then from there, it will shuttle the nutrients where they need to go. Just another gimmick that promises to much, and will only result in unhappy consumers. It's unfortunate that companies are so careless that they are willing to promise anything to sell a product.

Say it ain't so!! You mean there are unscrupulous companies out there that knowingly put out false information to make money off the unsuspecting?? Do your homework, knowledge is power!! Read, listen, ask questions, learn. The knowledgeable consumer is the only ones who can put these folks out of business!!
