Alrighty - so on Tuesday I had an incredible leg day. It felt great, and I was pumped. However, my legs were SO sore for the rest of the week, I couldn't run at all. I tried on Friday, but it just made my legs more sore. They are feeling better now, and I can't wait to hit them again this upcoming Tuesday, but I am wondering if it was worth it. I missed the time spent on the treadmill (about 75 min a week), and I could use some cardio. I'm thinking about toning down the leg workout and not pushing myself to fatigue, and rather keep my legs fresh for running. Any thoughts or suggestions???

is the treadmill/running the only cardio you do? You could try biking (less weight bearing.
i find that after ten or fifteen minutes, the soreness eases up and it actually feels better.
Maybe you did a little too much damage, hard to know from here, but sore for a whole week is a long time.

Yeah... I was thinking about biking. I really like running though! Anyway, my legs weren't bad the day after, but two days after the fact I could seriously feel it. And like I mentioned, I don't think I did myself much good when I tried running for half an hour with sore legs. I guess I just have to wait and see how they feel after my next leg day.
