What is a good source of protein that I can keep in my dorm room. I know a can of tuna cant really be beaten, but what else is out there. Is there anything that is cheap (protein bars arent too cheap) and doesnt need to be refridgerated? Thanks.

Those tuna pouches. Pouches of salmon. They also do the pouches with chicken breast and turkey breast. You can eat it right out of the pouch. Protein powder. 100% all natural peanut butter (this might have to be refrigerated). Kidney beans. Roasted soybeans. Almonds. You can get cans of those little baby shrimp. Sardines. Now I'm drawing a blank. :)

I find them right with the canned tuna/chicken in my grocery store. I have found some flavors like lemon pepper and herb marinated tuna. I haven't tried them yet.

The pouches are great...they have Hickory smoked, (my fav), lowest in fat, Lemon Pepper, Garlic and something. The pouches for salmon are just salmon. All the ones I have seen and buy are by Starkist.

I don't like the lemon pepper or herb. The hickory smoked is good! I get them at Wal-mart. They are right with the canned tuna and such. :)
