Hey Team - here's the problem I'm having - I've been doing lunges to get these buns and thighs of mine in killer shape however, my knees are starting to hurt. What could I be doing wrong? I watch my posture and form in the mirror and I THINK I'm doing this right, but after my first set, I feel a pinch in my knees. Anybody know what I could do to ease the tension?

It's possible that your form is STILL wrong inspite of your efforts to watch after it. Get someone educated to check it for you and watch you as your doing it. If that isn't the problem then try stretching your legs before u do your first set so that will ease up the muscles around ur knees.

Form is critical to lunges working correctly. Is there any personal trainers in your gym you ask for assistance? You also may want to think about doing squats. For what you want to do, this is an excellent exercise. In fact, doing squats followed by lunges is a great workout for your goals.

You could also try doing your lunges by bringing your leg back instead of front - that way your bent knee doesn't end up in front of your ankle.
