Right now I am trying to gain muscle mass, In my flat bench I am doing three sets, the first 160lbs for 12 reps, 2nd set 170lbs for 10 reps and the 3rd 185lbs for 8 reps. I was wondering how much of a time space there should be between sets. If anyone could help me out here it would be greatly appreciated
First if you are looking to gain mass add weight and lower the reps to 10-8-6 scale with one set of 12 reps for a warmup(light weight). I rest about 30 seconds on ave but I have taken a few minutes if needed.
