Does anyone have any real advice on dieting? I have tried about everything out there, and the ones that seem to work quick don't stay off and the ones that stay off, don't work fast enough. Does anyone know of any diets that are really good at helping to lose? I don't mind cooking or buying certain ingredients, I just want to hear from someone that really know what they are talking about. I have about 40 pounds of weight that stayed on after I had my second child. Thanks for the help.
Hi! "the ones that stay off, don't work fast enough" Ok consitency is the key. if they are working and the weight is staying off that is the most important thing. Having tried everything myself I found that a slow weight loss is very rewarding as it doesn't come back. Up the cardio and weight training. Don't starve yourself as you will lose muscle as well as fat and your body will go into starvation mode and store every bit of food around. Eat frequently throughout the day (5-6 small meals approx every three hours) I suggest trying the body for life program...The food plan is simple and you wont fail with it (it is what I used in the beginning and now I follow a modified version of it) If you would like more info on it feel free to email me. I know that it is frustrating...but remember that weight didn't come on overnight and it wont go away overnight either! Good luck PAT
Lonegirl, while I was scrolling through the posts, I noticed your pictures. Your progress is excellent. Care to fill everyone in on how you did it. How long have you been training? I have a few friends that could benefit from reading more about a success story like yours.
