I want to add 1 trap exercice to my shoulder work out which is better upright rows with barbells or shoulder shrugs with dumbells????

One week do the upright rows and the other week the shrugs.

Both are good exercises.

Both are great and alternating them is excellent advice you may also want to try reverse or behind the back shrugs with the smith machine they are great
