I eat protein bars when I got nothing else (or when I'm on the road). If you can then make a "normal" meal instead.
You got millions of brands out there. Look at the nutrition facts and then go after your taste.

Protein bars aren't quite as good as powdered supplements, but are certainly adequate in a pinch. Check the labels, though, some of them are super high in sugar and use low BV proteins. Make sure there's not a lot of sugar and that there's an RDA percentage across from the protein content and that is is twice the amount of protein (i.e. -- A bar with 24g or protein should have 48% in the %RDA column).

In looking at a Luna bar, it shows 10grams of protein but no RDA%. I'm thinking that is because it's soy protein? Any thoughts?

That is very good info mackfactor. I always looked at the sugar and to see how much protein but I never looked at the RDA%. Thanks. =============
