I am so lucky to have my husband to stand by my side as I work out. I want to say a little bit about form as you work out. It is so important to know that you are doing your weight lifting in a correct way. You have to execute your weight lifting in the right form and concentrate on the muscle you are working to get results. He always lets me know when I am not doing it right, when he corrects me I always feel it the next day. Sometimes we forget.

Absolutely; correct form is everthing, use mirrors if you have them. It takes along time to figure it all out sometimes.

You are so right about form! I figured out after my work out yesterday that I did the squates all wrong:( Oh well I know for the next time how I am supposed to do it but now I will be off a whole day on that area. Should I "catch" up today or not?
btw sandysford thanks for your little not of encouragement... :)

When I first started training I used to think the mirrors in the gym were for the guys who like to look at there biceps! Then I realised they are for me too, check the form!!

That's what I always say to new members in my gym; weight training is to give you more strength NOT to injury but it's sooo easy to hurt yourself if you don't know how to train correctly........
My gym has been open for a little bit more than 1 1/2 year and I haven't had one single accident yet...... (I'm behind everybody as well!! ;o)
