Heya, I've been workiong with the routines here for a little while, and am confused by varying terminology used for grips. "Outside" "Over", and another i forget... around?
They may be reffering to the E-Z curl bar?? An outside grip would be with the hands placed on the farthest out angle of the bar,and an inside grip would be with the hands placed on the inner bend of the bar. Usually the outside is used for standing curls, and the inner can be used for either standing or preacher curls. An underhand grip would be on the upper cables, grasping a straight or angled bar from underneath. These are good for reverse grip triceps, etc. An overhand grip would be for straight tricep cable pushdowns. These grips can also be used with the lat bar for different exercises. Hope this is what you are asking. If not, ask more, and you will get more answers. There are lots of various grips for various exercises. Usually FT in their description of the exercise will inform you.
