Hey all. I've been interested in getting an at home cardio machine such as a tread mill or an exercise bike. What I'd like to know is what is most efficient(sp?) type that I can get. I realize that this is a broad question and that it really depends on the user of the machine but if someone can lay down some basics for me it would help a lot. Basically it's boiled down to either a tread mill or an exercise bike, although I'm open to other options. Now I know tread mills are harder on the knees but I feel more "worked out" when I use them, where a exercise bike seems easier to me but is less stressful on the knees. Thanks in advance for any help provided.
Well if I should get a new cardio equipment, then I would get an elliptical trainer..... You're not sitting down (as when biking), burning more calories but not being tough with your knees (as the treadmill).
Welcome in here by the way!

Thanks for the help and the welcome Philia2. Well I guess I'll start looking into Elliptical Trainers now, since they seem to be the best type of at home cardio machine out there . Thanks again.
