Hi, I am a 32 year old woman who has been OBESE since early teens, I started dieting and exercising three months ago, and have lost 60 lbs. I bought Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds DVDS. I am now up to doing the three mile dvd twice a day 5-6 times a week. Someone told me yesterday that you are not suppose to work the same muscle group two days in a row, does this apply to Walk away the Pounds, or is this for strength training, etc??? Thank you in advance for your help.

That's for strength training, not cardio work. I don't know what your start weight was, but to lose 60lbs in 3 months is awesome! Congratulations!
What type of diet have you been following?

Thank you for your help! I thought so, but I wanted to make sure. I am a novice when it comes to these things.
Thanks for the good thoughts, I weighed 225 lbs on July 1, 2002. I now weigh 165lbs. When I first started dieting it was REALLY dieting,(starving) and for about three weeks I lost an average of 10 lbs per week. I think a lot of water, etc.
But after those three weeks, I felt really weak, so now I eat healthy every day, my dad is a diabetic, and I try to follow the guidelines given to him by his physican. I think all the WATP helps, I have been concentrating on correct posture, form, etc.
Anyone else know a good exercise workout for beginners, without to much coordination being involved?

I would say to look at the programs here. They are a great way to dip your feet in. Feel free to ask anything that might come up and we will try to help. By the way Good Job just rmemeber that this has to be a complete lifestyle change not just a diet. Good Luck!!
