I have just began a split routine coming from a 3x a week full body work outs.I work out my chest and arms on tuesday then my legs, and back and shoulders on thursday and then i wanna work out my chest and arms again on saturday.MY goal is building muscle mass and i've heard u should only work out a muscle once a week but when it comes to my chest and arms i feel like one 1 and a half hour work out a week is limiting. Is this a good routine.plz and advice or suggestions would be apreciated.

Well you can try it, but to gain mass you need to really use heavy weights. I would do the above workout for like a month take a month off and do the bodyparts once a week for a month and see what gives you the best workout. Personally I have done both and gained more only workout once a week per bodypart
