I know you have to eat more than normal to gain mass. I know increased protein is needed. I am unsure as to how much more. Particularly how much more fat and carbs you should be getting.

Keep the carbs low and increase your protien to about 1 gram per kilo of bodyweight if you are doing heavy weights.Keep your fat intake down. A good protien shake will have low numbers in the fat and carbs. good luck

I have read 1g of pro. per pound of body weight. Could you explain why you would want to keep your fat down??

what are you trying to do exactly, to gain mass and strength, or to lean out and keep what you have?

If you want to gain mass, then I'd try to get 1-2 grams per lean bodyweight and almost double that amount in carbs. If you eat healthy, then you don't really need to worry about the fat intake.
Try to divide the total amount of protein needed into 6 even meals spaced out evenly during the day.
Try to get more carbs in the earlier meals and less in the 2 last meals.
That's a pretty simplistic explanation, but it should work at gaining mass and not affecting bodyfat too much. It's really hard to gain lots of mass without adding a bit of fat too (naturally anyway).
Remember that everything takes time to happen. What you look like now is due to what your diet was like 2 weeks ago, not yesterday. Meaning, any changes you do now, won't show up for at least a week.
