Hey; Have you tried using push-up bars yet? They work great and very cheap too. I do three sets w/em in the mornings. Wide arm 1 set, close arm 1 set, and normal 1 set. They really force you to go all the way down and give you a good stretch. I made my own from wood blocks and a handles. I have seen them at k-mart. This is the next best thing, and good alternate to the bench press.
