Yesterdays chest workout

Been "lacking" on chest day for the "feel", doing it immediately following a brutal leg day. I began to feel I maybe wasn't fully recovered from the leg day, been setting personal records on legs, and pushing things very hard. Tough to hit another large muscle group like chest without even 24 hr. rest. So, I decided to take a day off between legs and chest and see what transpires.

Pretty good chest day for the "feel". This is what I have been lacking, more going through the motions the last few weeks and feeling fatigued on chest day.

My first working set with the 85's went so smooth, knocked out 10 reps like nothing, and had to force myself to stop!!

I have never, ever done 110's by myself without a spot from start to finish! Well, today, I did it! Only once(and a 1/2 ), but to just start is work, and to follow through with the entire rep by myself was pretty awesome. I asked a kid for a spot with the 115's, and he really didn't know what to do. I could tell I was in trouble when he followed me over to the weight rack rather than wait by the bench! I basically got the 115's by myself also. With a good spot, today would have been the day to do those 120's I have been coveting, but, did not try.

Anyway, had a great "feel" in my chest today for a change, nice stetching between sets that felt awesome, all around pretty good day.
