I can't wait to get back to my regular schedule...I'm beat.I threw out the rest of the pecan pie....turns out it isn't the breakfast of champions afterall...darn it...and I never did get the cookies frosted...so I was dunking the cookies in the frosting and eating them that way...my husband came in and told me he didn't believe frosting was designed to be a "dip"...so I threw that away.My schedule is still ridiculous...one day off(last night)since last thursday...back to work tonight until monday...then its over...phew...I'm tired!!!!!
Looking forward to getting back on the right track with the challenge...I know theres only a month left...but I can make some improvements in that time...disappointing to think of where I COULD have been if I'd stuck with it this entire time...BUT...no sense in dwelling on could haves....

2 years ago while we were in Spain some friends of ours were going out..but I've never been a fan of going anywhere on New Years...I'm afraid of the drunks on the road...so we usually stay home and have people over(that live close enough to walk home)...any way...my husband was on call so no drinking for him...the rest of us were pretty mellow.A friend of ours called and asked if her husband was with us at our house...this was about 2 am..I said no...that he had gone out with a group of our other friends,he was supposed to pick her up later.She said he shouldn't have been out...he'd been on a 24 hour watch the night before and hadn't slept...I told her I'd call if he showed up.About 30 minutes later my husbands pager went off and he had a code blue at the hospital...so he went tearing out of the house.He came home about 3 hours later...the code blue was for our friends husband.He'd been out drinking..with no sleep and no food...he fell asleep with his head forward and vomited...he choked to death on his own vomit...the others in the car were to drunk to even notice he was dead.My husband said it about killed him when he heard them tell his wife in the other room that her husband was gone..the cry she made was heart breaking.He left behind 3 boys...8,4 and 3 months old.Alcohol is dangerous...take heed.
