Hams/teardrop/calves

Today's workout...on a scale of 1-10, probably a 7. Not bad, actually went higher on a couple things, but the "feel" was not there. First forgot my straps, so on barbell hacks the weight would slip long before I was done. Oh well, it is my fault for not being prepared. I set them on top of my workout book as always last night, but this morning moved them early to get something, and forgot to put them back. Anyway, I did legs/calves today, no quads.

Leg extenstions
Sets....95x10,100x10,105x6,105x7

Superset Free weight hacks with sissy squats with 25 lb. plate.
Sets....185x12,20512,225x8,225x8/12,12,12

Dumbbell lunges
Sets....40x10,45x10

Leg curls(seated)
Sets...90x12,100x12,105x9

Abductors
Sets....130x20,130x20

Standing calf raises(smith machine plates only)
sets....200x15,250x15,310x10,310x10

Calves using leg press
Sets...410x20,410x20,410x20

The numbers weren't bad, it was the "feel" as I mentioned. Though I did feel it and do feel a bit now, still kind of lacked that "ooommmmph!" Oh well, to be expected sometimes. Tomorrow is 3 weeks out, leaving but 2 weeks to be prepared....am getting excited there now. My new posing trunks finally came yesterday, ordered them with my dream tan, and they never showed up. The dream tan came though. This weekend will be some heavy posing practice (with my new trunks!! )

I do love the competition, but I am always near the end ready for it to be over with! No matter how long you do this stuff, it is still a mighty task toward the end and takes its toll. I do not fret the small stuff anymore that in the beginning I used to, I know my body pretty well, but just counting down the days. It is so all consuming, I am ready to relax a bit. Soon......
