Good leg day!!

Well, I did it! I reached 950 on the leg press, 2 sets of 3 each! 10 plates on each side....wooo...hooo!

I finally figured out what was hurting my knees, it is hack squats. I go all the way down on those, and this is what the problem was. Started thinking, I have been doing leg presses for years with no problems...what is up?

Realized that as low as I was going, the first part of the movement up to parallel the knees are taking the brunt of the work. It was ok when I went lighter, but as my weights started going up, the problems started. So today, I literally skipped them. I did one set, and told myself, go only parallel. Well, my mentality is an all or nothing deal, and I immediately started all the way down, and instantly felt my knees. Finished out that set and moved on. Very good leg day.
