Chest/Abs

What an awesome chest day today. My wife got me psyched up believe it or not. I was kind of feeling huh, oh well, you know, get my way through it as best I can. She was doing flat benches and did 135!! She was stoked, then wanted to do it again. She yelled at me as she thought I was going to touch the bar, but I wasn't, just getting close to make sure. She got through both of them! At a bodyweight of 132!! Well, it kind of pushed my out of my doldrums, and I set some pretty awesome records. Even doing declines first this time, I set records on flat dumbbells and incline dumbbells. Inclines were especially sweet...it wasn't all that long ago I used to start with 60's, and struggle to do 70's even once. Now I normally start with 70's, went up to 90's today! First time I have ever even attempted them! And again, this was after doing declines, and flat benches.

Here is how it went..

Decline barbell(not smith)
Sets....185x10,225x6,250x3,260x2

Flat dumbbell bench
Sets.....85x8,105x4,120x2(yippeee!!!!),100x4

Hammer flat bench
Sets....200x5,220x3 and hold, push out partials to failure

Smith machine partials
Sets....225x5,245x3,250x3

Incline dumbbells
Sets.....70x7,80x4,90x3(PR also!!)

Hammer strength inclines
Sets....200x3,220x3

Swiss ball flies
Sets....50x8,50x6

Followed up with a nice ab workout. Really felt good and pumped today!
