I have a large bum & very chunky legs especially my thighs. I currently use a x-trainer for approx 20 mins 3-4 times per week. Will this help or hinder my want to slim my legs down?
If you are trying to lose bodyfat in your legs, then that is going to come from a combination of properly intense weight training, cardio, and proper nutrition. There is no "one way" to lose size in your thighs - or anywhere else for that matter.
If you feel like you have too much muscle in any area of your body, then I recommend getting your bodyfat level down to where you want it to be, at which time you will probably see that your present musclulature looks just fine on your frame.
