In september, in addition to weight lifting 3 times a week and doing cordio 3 times a week, plus trampolining twice a week, i want to take up karate twice week. I also really want to lose fat, ot sure what my exact % is, but I'm pretty chubby and fat los is very slow, although i feel fitter than ever. This site reccomends that i have no more than 1758 kcals a day. When i start to do karate, assuming i am still too chubby for my liking, should i try to maintain that number of kcals, or should i increase it to cope with the extra activity? Also, will i be overtraining? If so, what exactly would i have to cut back on?
Thanx!

Katie

The very best answer to your question is to listen to your body. You are the only one who can know if you'll be over training and if you are too hungry, well then eat!!
Stop counting calories and simply try to follow your body.....

If you feel like you are doing too much then use the Karate as cardio.
