I need gain some weight in muscle but I also wanted to increase my cardiovascular fitness, but can I still gain muscle while joggin and stuff 5 times a week?

It can be done. Muscle mass comes much faster without cardio which burns calories and can eat at tissue if done too much. Your body needs calories and protein to build muscle. Keep it at 3 days per wk after your workouts or, if possible, on off days. Just be sure to give it your all on each set. If you can do 10 reps of say 200 then you need to add more so you can only do 6. That will help build some muscle, and be prepared to be sore as I have recently discovered.

one more thing...cardio is not the only way to burn fat. eight training burns more fat then using a treadmill. Doing high intensity is also a good way to burn fat while lifting. In short, the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn.

You see thats not my problem. My problem is that im really skinny and Its pretty much impossible for me to gain any weight in fat so im trying to put some muscle on for weight.
