Hey everyone, lately after working out i feel so tired that i need to lay down for an hour. I wake up at 10am eat my oatmeal and cottage cheese workout an hour to an hour and a half later plus some esspresso before i hit the gym. After i take my protein shake and insuline spike, i'm wondering if it's from insuline spiking maybe i have the amount of surgar i'm taking in wrong, if anyone knows if this is the cause or if anything else could be causing this or maybe it's natural to be tired. I'm also getting about 7-8 hours of sleep. Thanks

What is your general carb intake like? If we go to low, we eventually fatigue easy.

Also, if you are insulin spiking, make sure you are not drinking the entire shake all at once. Drink about half immediately after the workout then sip the rest over 30 minutes to an hour.
As carivan said, carb intake throughout the day is important. Clean carbs of course.

I thought you were supposed to chug the entire insuline spiking shake then chug half the protein shake and sip the rest over the next 30-45min. I will try eating an extra cup of oatmeal.

it will take more than an extra cup of oatmeal justin. You need to balance the carbs all day.
