Pour into different bowl and clean up the mess in the microwave. Day 2 1/2 C Oatmeal 1 C Water Place in 4 Cup container which is a different shape from the one I used on Day 1. Nuke on high 2 minutes. Speak harshly to microwave. Pour oatmeal into different bowl and clean up the mess in the microwave. Day 3 1/2 C Oatmeal 1 C Water Place in 4 Cup container. Nuke on high 1 minute, stir. Nuke on high 1 minute, stir. Throw a fit. Pour oatmeal into different bowl and clean up the mess in the microwave. Day 4 Place in 4 Cup container. Nuke on 50% 1 minute, stir. Nuke on 50% 30 seconds, stir. Nuke on 50% 30 seconds, stir. Throw bigger fit. Pour oatmeal into different bowl and clean up the mess in the microwave. Day 5 Combine 1/2 C dry oatmeal with 1 C water and pour directly in microwave. Slam door. Go to IHOP for smiley face pancake. -------------- Anni ******* Hard work must have killed somebody
ATIGER Posts: 992 Joined: 2003/02/26	2004/06/21, 10:38 AM How about a 5 cup container? Seriously, I have that problem when I visit my sister-in-law. I can use the same size bowl that I do at my house but in her microwave, the oatmeal just overflows. In my microwave, it swells but never has come out of the bowl. Must be the differences in the microwaves. You must have a oatmeal swelling one

I think the cold water is where it's at.... not sure if that makes a differenc or not... Perhaps if we could direct a little more anger toward the enemy, we might all feel better.
