It really depends on what your goals are, is it to tone / stay in shape, or is it to gain massive muscle mass? If mass is your goal then you should definitely consider a protein supplement. If you are just trying to stay in shape, then it is not necessary for you to spend your money on supplements, unless you really want to. As Ageis pointed out “taking some sort of protein supplement wouldn’t hurt.” As has been pointed out a million times (no I haven’t counted them all), because it’s true, protein is one of the fundamental building blocks of your body, it’s required for cell and muscle re-growth, as well as keeping you healthy in other ways.
