I'm just wondering what everyone else is eating throughout the day? I'm not seeing much weight loss (I know I have to measure the inches - I'll do it tonight and report tomorrow). I know I'm doing ok at the gym. I'm not perfect, but I'm not a couch potatoe! I think my diet might need some finessing. Can you others - especially those like me who have alot of weight to lose - post what your average day of food looks like. Thanks.
Happy lifting!

Here was today for me:
8:00 a.m. breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal w/cinnamon & Splenda
8:45 a.m. workout for one hour
9:00 a.m. two pieces whole grain toast with less than tbsp peanut butter
11:30 a.m. 3 oz steak and diet coke
1:30 p.m. banana and low cal yogurt
4:30 p.m. Whole grain bun with tomato, lettuce, turkey and a smidgen of low cal mayo
6:00 p.m. 2 celery stalks
Lots of water with all meals and in between.
I never meet my protein even when weight days and I drink my protein drink. I understand it is suppose to be 1 gr for every pound - how in the world can I eat 228 gr of protein? I must be figuring something wrong as even with the meats I have added, I'm still falling way short and I can't eat more calories, so what am I to do?
Hope that helps.

VedaK - is the celery the last thing you eat at night?
If so you are leaving your body far too long without eating
Think about cottage cheese, tuna or an MRP drink in the evening or you'll be going into starvation mode overnight

0700 2 slices wholemeal bread 1 with yeast extract, 1 with PB, protein shake with milk (360cals)
1100 3 rice cakes with yeast extract (100cals)
1300 low fat cheese sandwich, apple, 2 plums (300cals)
1600 pack dried apricots or prunes (keeps me regular :)) (100cals)
1800 fish/poultry/lean meat with steamed veg (usually broccoli + peas), then fruit (500cals)
2100 tuna on 2 slices toast (260cals)
2300 cottage cheese (100cals)
and also a whey shake after weights 3 days a week
This is 1700-1800 cals a day and I am struggling to maintain 122lbs. I have never been able to eat this much before and I am convinced it is the frequency which is the key :)
