What Weight To USE?

hey i see in fitness plan.. it tells you # of sets and reps to do.. but.. how do i figure out.. at wat weight..
ex:Close Grip Presses
SETS: REPS: %of 1pep Max:
1 14 ?
2 8 ?
3 6 ?
4 4 ?

I use the first high rep set as a warm-up. Experiment a little and try and choose a weight that can't be lifted beyond the target reps. If your target rep is 8 and you haven't failed at 10, add more weight. Welcome to the forum. As you get stronger, you'll pass your target and it's time to add weight again. This is where a trainer log comes in handy and lets you track your progress.
