I am currently at school and am trying to put on weight for football, however I would like to put on muscle as my weight. We are currently on a lifting program which involves intense running and agility before each lift so its not easy to gain weight. With dining hall food as my only option they have generic things breakfast is fine because of eggs but I dont know what I should eat at dinner and lunch etc. What foods should I target for putting on muscle mass? I'm 19 and weight about 227, 6'2"

Obviously focus on protein sources, chicken, fish, chili, etc. It sounds like you guys are burning quite a few calories so you don't necessarily need to avoid carbs. Some pasta for lunch, oatmeal, sweet potato, or things like that. Dinner eat a lot of meat and maybe a salad or vegetables.
