Ok, I've been training and gaining for 3 weeks now but I came down with the flu 3 days ago and today is the first day I've been out of bed. I'm well rested and feeling better. SHould I just go back to my normal routine and diet or should I just take it slowly?? Please help I feel useless not going to the gym now =)

Hi jake...don't feel usleless because you haven't been at the gym. Just think, if you weren't healthy to start with your virus would have lasted alot longer.
Keep up your regular diet, and get back into it slowly. Listen to your body. How is your vitamin intake? Wash your hands often!!

Don't wear yourslef out again right away, you will be more vulnerable to a relapse. Kind of ease into it. Take Carivan's advice, wash hands, take vitamins. also make sure that you are rehydrated. often after an illness, we are not as hydrated as we need to be.

Take it slow and easy, it will come back. Soon, you will be right back and progressing even farther than you were. If you push it too hard the first day, that virus has a way of sneaking back up on you.
