what should i be benching?

what do you think a 5'10 150lb 19 year old guy should be benching? a guy who is in really good shape?
and how much is possible at that size?

that is a loaded question. Everyone differs. I have seen some rather small looking guys put up some pretty hefty bench numbers, then again I have seen some guys that look like they could move a house not be able to bench their own weight. I say, just keep working. Lower rep scheme, 4-6, heavy weight. Your bench will improve to where it should/could be depending on your intensity and diet. Good luck....

Just another thought.If you read publications like Mens' Health, I think they say to be a "manly man", LOL....you should be able to bench 1 1/2 times your bodyweight. I personally would not get too stuck on any "number", sometimes there is a tendency that once you reach that, you slack off. Always keep trying to better yourself! Good luck.
