I work out 3-5 times a week doing TKD and am losing some weight as well as shaping up. I want to do more but being a wide shouldered, heavily/large muscled woman, I have to be careful not to bulk up, should i do heavy or light weights and more or less reps ? Thanks JO

I believe the answer is more reps and lighter weights. If you want to increase cardio and increae muscular endurance you can take 1 day and keep the rest in between each set to 30-45 seconds. This will cause you to exhaust the muscle which in the end improves overall strength and endurance.

I guess you haven't read any of the MANY posts about women and 'bulking up'. It doesn't happen unless you are on something or are working at it day and night. Read some of asimmer's posts. Light weights and more reps is just wasting your time. Lift heavy and eat right.
