I have been thinking about getting a weight belt but I really have not felt the need yet. I am worried about safety though so I think betterr sooner then later. What I want to know is what size I should have and what does the size have to do with it? Can someone help me out
Thanks, Quest

Its not a bad idea to have but do not weat it all the time. It is the same thing as when you have wrist supporting gloves, they become dependant of the support. So i would use the belt when you progress in weight in squats and deads.-snow

Thanks very much, I will keep that in mind. As I said I am not into the heavy weights yet, but I plan too.

you can use it when u use heavy loads - I mean 400 lbs + for example and for exercises like squats and deadlifts where your back may be in risk with a slight incorect deviation in form...hope that never happens though
