I'am 6'3" and I can dunk a Basketball But I was wondering How can I Gain at least 12" and What is the Fastest way To gain inches.

I'am doing quater squats For About 2 days a week for the last 2 weeks and I went from 220 to 305 in that time but it has not increased my Vertical leap.oh yea I'am a one footed Jumper I take off of one foot if that matters or not.but on my vertical I jump Off two.:surprised:

The best way to increase your vertical leap is with plyometric training. Stick to a balanced lifting routine for your legs, because base strength is most important of all. Do a search here for plyometric programs....I've seen some on here in the past. As far as increasing 12", that is usually unrealistic for most people, despite what jump program ads often say. We're all limited by our structure and the % of fast-twitch fibers in our legs. To put it in perspective, though, to dunk a basketball well, you need to be able to get your hand about 6" above the rim. If you train hard and add 4" to your vertical, you are now 10" over the rim. That's a big difference! Being a one-legged leaper, be sure to work your non-dominant leg as hard as the other and work on your two-legged jumps. You never know what strange foot positions you'll have to jump off of when playing ball, and being able to go off of two is best for a balanced base. I'm a one-leg leaper, too, and my two-leg jumps picked up very quickly once I started concentrating on them. Good luck!
