hey, my name is lisa. i really want to get rid of my body fat and tine up for good. ive ben trying to do this for years and this time i feel really serious about my exercise and diet plan. the thing is im a vegetarian and getting protien is a problem, also i kind of hurt my back when i started exercising about a month ago from over doing it.ow should i start. wise. i have the weight exercise plan but the cardio im not sure of what to do...whats NOT good for the lower back? thats what hurts.

I've got a lower back problem as well (herniated disc) and have just learned that "If it hurts, don't do it". So, try a few things, treadmill, eliptical, aerobics, kickboxing, bicycle, etc. If it hurts, STOP! If all else fails - swim, although be careful swimming with a kickboard. It's natural motion can cause you to arch your back which can cause pain.
