Getting ready to take the wife & kids to Fla. for a week. I don't really like the thought of "starting over" when I get back from vacation. Any suggestions on what I can do to avoid the major soreness of starting over when I get back?

most hotels have some form of a weight/exercise room (i know cuz i'm on the road 9 months out of the year, all across the US). some of the workout rooms suck, but i make do with what i have. also, here in florida especially, there are gyms on every corner, so there's always the one month gym membership option.

A lot of hotels have running deals with the local gym, might want to keep that in mind. Besides, worst case scenario, a week off shouldn't be that taxing on your system when you return.

Just another side note on my last post, Maintaining your diet would probably take precedent in my opinion.
