Posting the same question in a different forum won't get different responses usually. You posted this in beginners as well. I would instant message Hecdarec. Good guy and can probably help you out quite a bit. However, as you are just starting out a general full body workout is going to be the best to give you a good upper body. By working the bigger muscles of the legs you will actually increase your upper body as well. Furthermore, because you are fairly new, you don't really need to do to much more than the simple compound movements. by that I mean chest press (barbell or dumbell), Squats, shoulder presses, bent over rows, curls and tricep extensions. I would master my form in those lifts and then move on to some of the others.
