I have this really uncomfortable pain in the left shoulder. Whenever i rotate my arms from back to front it pains. It pains when i do the side laterals too.. Its really uncomfortable and its continuous.. What could be the cause and what would you recommend.. Oh and one more thing, when i'm doing my bench dips i have noticed a difference in the elbow position of both my arms.. The left one where the pain is sticks out a bit.. This pain has recently come up but the bench dip issue has always been there.. What do i do? Please help me out on this.. Thanks..

I also pain in my left shoulder however it is the secapula that is injured. The doctor has ordered me to rest the arm for three weeks and undergo physical therapy. Meantime I am resting, iceing and keep a steady stream of alleve going.

Sounds like you might have a shoulder impingement. Look at my comments in some of the more recent shoulder threads. They might help you also. Good luck.

Oh I am ongoing a shoulder physio... and yes, I agree, you've got to stop exercising...My physiotherapist says it will take three months at least to my shoulder to have a full recovery.

Be careful and good luck!
